1. Voice recording (10 pts)

Record yourself pronouncing the 16 nasal finals and post it on VoiceThread below. We have done this a few times now. If you have question regarding how to record and comment on VoiceThread, please go back to the previous lessons for instruction.

Pronunciation accuracy: (1-5 pts)

2. Discussion Forum (10 pts)
Create a discussion post to communicate with your classmate about your learning process.
Your post should include:

  • Which final among all the finals we have covered did you struggle the most with? How did you manage to learn and remember the pronunciation of that final? Any tips for your classmates?

  • What is the most useful resource you found outside of the classroom that has helped you with your Chinese learning?

  • Which finals do you still have problem pronuncing that you wish your classmates can give you some tips?

  • There is one special final we haven't covered -"er". Please research online and include a link to your findings about its pronunciation. YouTube might be a good place to look.

  • After you finish your post, check the discussion board daily and respond to at least 3 classmates.

 2 pts for each bullet point; Less than 3 replies to classmates will result in a 0 for the last bullet point.
