My favorite saying is "you can learn anything if you want to". Learning a foreign language so different from your native language can be challenging, but I believe all of you can do well with some dedication.
I look forward to being helpful for you throughout your learning journey.
My Story
My bachelor's is in English education. I taught English as a second language in China prior to my graduate study at Emporia State University in Instructional Design and Technology.
I also work in the international education field, so I have the opportunity to encounter people from different parts of the world. I can not tell you enough how beautiful all these languages people speak are. Since mandarin is my native language and I am passionate about language teaching and learning, I decided to create a course for people who want to learn Mandarin Chinese.

My intention is to alleviate the intimidation people feel towards this complex language. It is not as difficult if you break it down into small meaningful units, just as any other subject matter. This course will help you start from the basics.

I am also passionate in distance education as it provides learning opportunities for people with professional and family responsibilities. Learning doesn't stop at graduation. It's a life-long journey. I hope this course will help you whenever and wherever you feel like learning.
