Assessment 20 pts
For this lesson, you are required to participate in two learning activities.
1. Pinyin syllables practice (10 pts)
We have learned all pinyin initials and finals. They constitute all existing Chinese syllables. You are required to pronounce all of them correctly. Go to https://chinese.yabla.com/chinese-pinyin-chart.php
Record yourself reading all pinyin syllables on the "Mandarin Chinese Pinyin Chart with Audio". The order should be from left to right, from top to bottom. You need to start with "ba". The second should be "bo". Tones are not required.

Submission: Upload your recording to this Google drive folder. Name your audio file "Lastname_syllables".

2. Mobile learning activity: Pinyin Hunt (10 pts)
Go explore pinyin in real life. Are there any Chinese restaurants in town? Do they have pinyin on their signboards?
For example there is a Chinese restaurant in Emporia called Shanghai. If you haven't learned pinyin, you probably will pronounce it the American way. But now you should know the correct Chinese pronunciation.

Requirement:
1. Record a video of yourself pronouncing the pinyin example you found (doesn't have to be from a restaurant, you might find something at museums, malls and any other locations. You will be surprised).
2. Include your face and the pinyin sign in your video clearly.
3. Make sure the video is clear.
